Lobatse community members protested on Monday night to express anger and frustration over the disappearance of Tlotso Karema on March 18.
Residents burnt tires and blocked some roads last night, demanding some action from Botswana Police Service to help find the child. Riot police from the Special Support Group were called in to quell the protests. Peleng East councilor Ontiretse Mosimanewamacha blamed the delay in releasing a report of Police investigations for the riots.

Ward Development Committee (WDC) and other members of the Lobatse community cleared the roads of burning tires and removed other barricades including trees and rocks, following protests today over the disappearance.
